You've got more patience than I do, then. I don't think I could make it a whole day.

How long have the two of you known each other?

[Lifetimes, apparently.]

The patience, or knowing how to deal with Jack?

So only a couple of years so far? The way you two were bickering, I would have thought you'd been friends much longer than that.

I'm glad you at least know what you're in for.

[In spite of her irritation with Jack, she is teasing! Mostly.]

I know you mean how long the two of you have known each other, but I have to ask: did things seem old-fashioned in your visions, too? The clothes you two were wearing were a bit out of date for today.

That's right. Newsboy caps and vests, skirts and petticoats...

[And long, knee-length underwear? In spite of the fact that in her visions she's felt completely at ease in the strange clothing, thinking back on it now it seems odd.]

Maybe if we research the clothing we remember, we can get an idea of the time period. After all, we already know where we were.

That's a good idea. Architecture can provide context clues as well. Street names may not give us too much to go on, since they still exist today, but a building's location and purpose could be cross-referenced with the buildings that have stood on that particular lot...

Do you want to work together? I could meet you at the library sometime soon and we can see what we find.
