I sure don't need to add more to his ire. He's already mad at me thinking of him in regards to a Jack who tumbled down a hill.

Jack and Jill? What brought that up?

I had been telling him about an impromptu performance that occurred during our unplanned trip. It just so happens we decided on Jack and Jill. Of course he didn't appreciate that.

Your unplanned trip... do you mean in August when the both of you disappeared?

What in the world happened that you had to do an impromptu performance of Jack and Jill, of all things?

That's the one.

We ended up in a haunted mansion. Emphasis on the haunted portion. There was.... we stumbled upon the ghost of the kids while we were exploring. I guess they wanted one last performance before they moved on.

[ or... at least he hopes they moved on. ]

I suppose as far as ghosts go, that isn't so bad... what a shame, though. Children should never die so early on in life.

Yeah, it could have been a lot worse [ if you know, getting wrapped up in ghostly related marionette strings counted as things being Okay. ] We were pretty lucky.

They certainly seemed to like my impressions of Jack.

You'll have to show me your impression of him at some point, if it's that good. I bet it was pretty spot-on!
